Main design features and advantages
- Actuator that includes diaphragm and spring transforms the change of the incoming signal to the movement of stem that is rigidly connected to valve gate.
- Actuator also includes coiled gasket which provides sealing over three surfaces with the use of one set of fasteners.
- Actuator operates with the change of hydraulic resistance of valve that depends on the change of it's bore versus gate travel. When there is no compressed air in the working chamber then spring moves stem to an extreme position: the upper one for the actuators that are opened in normal position and the lower one for that closed.
- Models POU-9 and POU-12 have lubricators for grease injection to grease chamber.
